I'm at the stage of pregnancy now where even if I try to go to bed early and get proper sleep its just not happening... 😒 I have bad carpal tunnel when Im NOT pregnant and now because Im at the final weeks and retaining a shit ton of fluid when I sleep (you have to sleep on your side when you are pregnant, no back sleeping because it can damage organs, and no stomach sleeping for obvious reasons) on my side it puts pressure on my nerves in my arms and I wake up in the middle of the night with either 1 hand or both hands swollen and numb and my arms HURT and I can't go back to sleep 😓 My hands will also randomly go numb while holding my phone long periods of time, driving, etc. It sucks! I've been up since 4am last night and ordered myself a couple of carpal tunnel braces to see if that'll help.. 🤞 'sleep before the baby is born' is and always will be BS cause you really can't get good sleep when pregnant. In other news my regular obgyn and my high risk dr team are monitoring the size of my gremlin and we'll be doing weekly checks and there is a chance they might make me do a csection at 39 weeks due to the size of the bub and they don't want any delivery complications especially because Ive had a csection in the past and don't want to risk uterine rupture or have issues with shoulder dyscotia 😳 You better believe mama gunna be putting a lot of work in the next 2 weeks best I can to have everything made and scheduled so I can comfortably take a month or so off to get adjusted to a new routine once the gremlin is here! 💪 Wish me luck! I still have lots to do around my house too 🙃
